This Privacy Policy governs how information of alekdlc users is collected, used and protected. We collect account identifiers, technical information and the history of interactions. The data is used to run the service, to contact the user and for analysis. Information is shared with third parties only in cases set by law, to process payments, or with the user consent. Data is kept for as long as needed and protected within reasonable limits. The user bears the risks related to transmitting data. The Administration may change the Policy, and continued use of the service means acceptance of the new version.
1. General provisions
- 1.1 This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") governs how information that the User provides when using the alekdlc service is processed and protected: the alekdlc.tech website, the launcher and the client (the "Service").
- 1.2 By using the Service, the User agrees to the terms of the Policy. If the User does not agree with the terms, they must stop using the Service.
2. Information we collect
- 2.1 Account identifiers: username, email address and account number. The password is stored only as a hash, the Administration never sees the password itself.
- 2.2 Technical information: IP address, browser, device and operating system data, and the computer identifier (HWID) used to sign in to the Launcher.
- 2.3 History of interactions with the Service: sign-in times, orders, activated keys, HWID resets and support requests, and the avatar if the User uploaded one.
- 2.4 The Service does not require passport data, documents, photos or other personal information beyond the minimum needed to work. Payment data such as card numbers is entered on the payment partner side, and the Service does not receive it.
3. How we use information
- 3.1 To run the features: creating the account, signing in to the website and the Launcher, delivering purchased features and activating keys.
- 3.2 To contact the User, including notifications, password reset emails and support.
- 3.3 To protect accounts from theft, sharing and fraud, and to analyze and improve the Service.
4. Sharing information with third parties
- 4.1 The Administration does not sell or share the data with third parties, except when required by law; when needed to fulfil obligations to the User, for example to process a payment through a payment partner; or when the User has consented.
- 4.2 The payment partner receives only the data needed to process the payment.
5. Storage and protection
- 5.1 Data is kept for as long as needed for the purposes of processing, but not longer than the account exists, unless the law requires otherwise.
- 5.2 The Administration takes reasonable measures to protect data: passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, the Launcher and the Client talk to the server over an encrypted channel, and only the Administration has access to the data. Absolute security of information sent over the internet is not guaranteed.
- 5.3 The website uses only necessary cookies: the session, "Remember me" sign-in, and the selected language and theme. There are no advertising or analytics trackers.
6. Disclaimer
- 6.1 The User understands and agrees that sending information over the internet always carries risks.
- 6.2 The Administration is not liable for loss, theft or disclosure of data caused by third parties or by the User.
7. Changes to the Policy
- 7.1 The Administration may change the Policy without prior notice.
- 7.2 Continued use of the Service after changes means the User accepts the new version of the Policy.
